Give up field of view for increased mag - Kowa 1.6x Eyepiece Extender

I waited until I used this out in the field over multiple days in various weather conditions and light conditions to give a review.
Pros:
Clarity remains crystal clear, even at max power. I have video through my phone attached to the scope (via phoneskope adapter) of bull elk at 750 yards that looks like you're 20 yards away. I also have video of a big bull elk at 1300 yards that is incredible. I also have video of a nice muley 4x4 at just over 1 mile where you can tell exactly what kind of mass he has, what kickers he has, how big his eye guards are, and everything. Pairing this with my kowa TSN-884, I love it.
Cons/tips:
You do give up field of view. I have the straight spotter which makes finding the target a little easier, but if I was sitting down to glass a mountainside I would probably unscrew this just to get the bigger field of view. But you can unscrew it and remove it pretty easily and quickly. Just take off the eyepiece and unscrew it out, put the eyepiece back on and you're in business.
You do give up a little brightness in low-light situations with that extra magnification. I would say this becomes barely noticeable about 15 minutes before sunrise and within 15 minutes of sunset. If it's more dark than that, it can be a little hard to see.
Your scope has to be rock solid. At that high of a magnification, you need to have a good tripod, good tripod head, and steady base, or you will notice a shake. Also have to pay attention to the wind.
Overall, I love having it in my pack. I usually just leave it screwed in as I glass for things with my binos first, then whip out the spotter with this to get a better look.
