MICHAEL's Review of KynSHOT AR-10 7.62mm/.308 Recoil Buffer w/ Shorty Collapsible Stock

my LR-SR25 308win... I modified a HERA CQR stock to fit the profile in perfect match alignments, additionally using some industrial grade rubber concrete inside where I skeletonized the stock to polymer trim as well all the way down to seat down to Locking ring stablizing it with S90 Dap also. Inside it I have a Billet SS Skeletonized Tube. So my stock system Very Very Lightweight, like 7.2oz total and disgned to reduce as much recoil as possible.

In the tube I also have a ChromMolly Chevy Nova HighTension Spring in it oppose to a standard AR spring. and i was Using the M4 Aero Buffer at 3.5" 4.8lb. with mysetup i was mm away from the bolt catch on fulldraw. I was skeptical about switching to this despite a lot of positive reviews in other locations. and WoW ooh Boy!

the rubber quality is way better on the buffer tip first of all. 2nd of all, the 1" gives plenty of clearing space for my SR25's bolt catch. so if building a SR25 shorty, this is a considerable aspect to think of. it does improve cycle feed rates by micro seconds. but anytime you improve a recoil system giving it more room to flow that is expected. most importantly which wasnt expected. the 4.8lb buffer to the 3.8lb 2 inch. does not feel like 1lb less. granted my stock+bound lower system is so light anyway 1LB is easily noticeable. but because it doesnt have shifting weights of the ball barring's. So, that 1 lb feels like 5lb lighter. and the system is that much more stable, where again anytime you can reduce or remove moving parts from a system, you are essentially adding that much more stability to that mechanical system.

now im wondering if it had this much system improvement with 1" and 1lb, with barring to hydraulics. I think I need to find one for my 10mm auto ar9. because that is 10.2lb tungsten buffer. so, maybe they have a 9.2/9.4lb full auto rated hydrolic pistol buffer as well. if so, im going to have to buy one of those too. because it is that good!
