no problems cycling on my ar10 takes a lot of that recoil as well
make sure you get the shorty for an Ar-10 and the longer one for an Ar-15 makes a difference and the longer one wont cycle in the bigger 300 cal rifles

I added this to a PSA PA-10 rifle in 308 Win. 18 inch barrel. The recoil was not bad to begin with but adding this helped reduce felt recoil. My daughter likes this rifle more than her Ruger American in 6.5 CM. Very pleased with it.

Best addition to my A10’s. Keep s muzzle rise to a minimum, keeping my target in my sights. Makes second shots faster for me. Less felt recoil is also helpful, making a day of shooting easier on my shoulder.

Product Info for KynSHOT AR-10 7.62mm/.308 Recoil Buffer w/ Shorty Collapsible Stock
The KynSHOT RB5004 "Shorty" Recoil Buffer is designed for AR-10 carbines with a collapsible stock and an AR-15 length (7.0") buffer tube which is common on many AR-10 applications. The RB5004 reduces felt recoil 20-30%, while largely eliminating muzzle flip. The improvement in weapon accuracy - specifically second and third shot accuracy - is even more noticeable as shooters report that their time to reacquire a target decreases, and in many cases never leaves their scope sights. This buffer has patented damping technology to absorb the shock of impact from the bolt carrier's rearward motion and to prevent bolt bounce as a new cartridge is chambered.
