No more dot envy - EOTech OPMOD EXPS2 Holographic Reflex Red Dot Sight

Being a Police Officer in a high crime major city and former murder capital for several years in a row (Gary, IN.) I clear more house in one week then most departments with their swat teams do in a year. Being that we do go up against a lot of people using AK-47's I need to use my AR-15, this is why I needed an OPMOD Eotech. To be able to keep both eyes open and keeping my peripheral vision was a must. Also with the large rectical that takes the guess work on a quick target placement no matter where your head is at, not to mention if you just got done running it's quicker and easier to acquire a threat with this rectical then trying to with iron sights. Believe me i'm a firm beliver in iron sights and always will be, but once sighted in this OPMOD Eotech in a high stress situation takes all the guess work out of it and will help you get home safe. Yes I would like to see this item cheaper, but it does use only one CR123 battery and use a lot less rail space, and with that said the price was more then worth it in the long run and has helped me get home safe many of times.
