I purchased this sharpener on sale for a great price here on Optics Planet. It works very well and is easy to use: I sharpened 4 pocket knives in about 15 minutes without any problems. I did find that I did a much better job on my last knife than my first, though! I was hoping to also use this on my kitchen knives but, after using it, I think I would opt for the larger model if I were sharpening knives with a blade longer than 3-4".
