Amazingly smooth upper! Very clean! It works very well with my Anderson lower, and my article II lower. Very easy to clean and disassemble. And very good fitment with the barrel. I have since returned to Opticsplanet and purchased a lantac lower
Most Helpful Negative Review needs some work with a file
Had to file both the top lip of the ejection port and the forward assist. Tried multiple mil spec and aftermarket parts. Detent for ejection port couldn't articulate until after I used a round file. I couldn't be more pleased with it! Building a Lantac Raven upper and the fact I didn't have to wait 4 months on back order from lantac and optics planet had them in stock was a huge plus!

Very nice feels like the high quality you would expect color was good black matched my lower overall very happy mounted great to my lower no slop with raised lip in the uppee it’s a great upper for any build and optics planet always has the best deals

A little disappointed...

Anxiously waited 10 business days to receive my order... When I opened the package I immediately was disappointed because the annodized finish had a purple hazy tint.. This item description states that it is deep black, not purple.. I also have the Lantac Spada hand guard to compare the color contrast to and it's not even close...the upper receiver also had milling marks and blemished milling around the bolt release.. I mmediately returned the item postage free and waited another 10 days for the return verification... now I'm waiting for Optic planet to send me another UNBLEMISHED upper receiver. Side note:....The inside milling seemed to be as smooth as advertised, but not as smooth as my Vltor upper.. Im thinking Lantac is selling their blems to other online dealers... which is fine, but at least it should be stated so in the item description.. I will update as soon as I get the my upper in hand�
