Good design, bad manufacturing - Lantac Enhanced Full Auto Style Bolt Carrier Group (BCG) w/ NiB Coating

Me and a friend ordered several of these (separately) at the same time. Both of us got the same batch of junk. The gas key had dings and nicks along side face that interacts with the Upper receiver walls. We both contacted Lantac separately. At first they seemed responsive. But after requesting the RMA it was crickets. 3+ weeks and nothing. I took a fine diamond file and removed the burrs, destroying the nickel boron coating and probably the warranty in the process. Quality department receives a 0 of 10 for this customer. Far from “quality” control. Slipping for sure.

Note: the body of the BCG seems perfect and the bolt for that matters. The gas key killed the entire assembly. Probably a different vendor / supplier. Fire them and go with AM Tech.

Otherwise 5 stars if they get back to where they used to be.
