Poorly made in america! - Steiner CQBL-1 Visible Red/IR Pointer

I was really looking forward to the CQBL-1 because of its design and the fact that it's made in America. I was sure to purchase it in "new" condition to avoid any unwanted surprises. That ultimately didn't matter. The top and side of the case was smeared with epoxy residue! It looked like the factory assembler had a mishap with the epoxy applicator while filling the screw holes and did a really sloppy job of cleaning it up. The fire switch was coated with epoxy as well. There were even air bubbles in the epoxy that had been placed in the screw holes. It didn't look anywhere near like the advertisement picture. The laser worked just fine though. It's just that the case looked like aweful due to the epoxy smears and I wasn't going to have that on my new build. This item never should've made it past the final QA check. Anyways, I hope you have better luck if you order this laser sight.
