The beam on this product is similar to a weak (15 lumen) green flashlight.
It would let you find varmint eye in the dark, but not see its body any further
than 50 yards away. I don't shoot a just eye.
Pros:
None
Cons:
weak
Best Used for:
paper weight
Would recommend: No

LG advertises that product is safe on eyes if used correctly and a range of 100yds. After scanning through scope with mounted laser, I noticed that my vision seems a little off - almost like there is a residue on my lens - similar to looking at a bright light and looking away - it takes some time for eyesight to return to normal. I would estimate the usable range at closer to 50 yards than the 100 yds advertised. It certainly illuminates the target but I question the range and its affect on eyesight. I intend to use this for predator night hunting but you can't help but illuminate other critters and deer when scanning noises in the field. Will the laser damage the eyesight of animals that the hunter does not intend to shoot? Mounting hardware was good quality.
Pros: Short range illumination
Cons: Affect on eyes after use
Would recommend: Yes
