So far it is a good machine. It is compact and fast for measuring tree heights. This system uses an inclinometer so an unobscured view of the tree top is less crucial than some of the other models which rely purely on distance measurements. The accuracy is adequate for tree heights but insufficient for measuring limiting distances associated with plot radius factors. Still, we are finding this intrument to be a useful tool which is boosting our productivity.
