Legacy Reviewer's Review of LaserLyte Carbine Green Laser System K-15

I bought 2 of these lasers for use on my 22MAG and AR308. One of the lasers had to be returned, due to poor make. The laser would not operate all the time even you turned the switch to always ON. The laser would be working and the recoil from the 22Mag would shut it down. Usually it would flicker back on with another round or two. I tried tightening all the connections and still had no progress. I didn't try it on the AR, but fortunately the other laser has been working from day one without a hitch even with the increased recoil. However, it will not hold a zero for more than 5 rounds. The laser creeps up and slightly right. I was hoping that compared to cheaper options of green lasers out there, that the extra cost was going to equate to a slightly better product, but it too seems to share the same problems as it's cheaper cousins. The beam is nice and bright, and can be seen during bright daylight out to about 60 yards with no optics and can be seen at 100yds with optics. Night time the beam is brilliant green and can be seen for what seems like forever. No doubt, it turns heads at the range! But, only if you really want the carbine type laser, I'd recommend buying the cheaper varieties; they do the same thing for less. I guess you have to invest in a $1000+ laser system if you want it to hold a true zero.
Pros: Carbine design
Cons: poorly made, does not hold zero
