I have a few of these. They are definitely a must-have for dry fire practice, along with the laserlyte targets.

It’s actually pretty useful and fun to practice with. When drawing and practice firing, it’s nice to see where your firearm is actually pointing when you’re drawing from your holster. Plus can practice a little every day without hitting the range.

I love this product. I use it for " drawing from a holster" exercise and it works perfectly. It provides instant feedback and it replaces expensive live ammo for a lot of training situations. That's all I have to say but this site requires me to write more stuff for some reason.

Fits nice inside my Springfield Hellcat and G19(s) for 9mm. Only thing is I wish this brand came in green or another color because I have red dots on every pistol I own. Hellcat is my daily and have the shield red dot and that has no manual on or off. So red laser on red dot it’s hard to see where I hit on the target. I have reflector targets all around. This laserlyte is already $100. Which is alright but kinda wrong just because of what this is. But I have never put or bought anything cheap on any of my guns. But good product

I purchased a 9mm LaserLyte for several Wilson Combat X-Tacs and a WC-P320F to help facilitate daily dry fire practice at my in-home range. The product works well but in my experience it only lasted two months. After ~2,500 dry fire rounds, I changed the batteries and it worked fine, briefly, but then the laser started growing dim and died out. I cannot tell whether this is due to a worn primer area on the cartridge or the laser itself gave out. The batteries were new and tested out in prefect condition and I made sure I put the batteries in the cartridge correctly. In any case, for ~$100, I expect something this simple to last a bit longer.
Pros:
- Good substitute for live ammo range time

Hi all,
This tool is great as a training aid, works great to get muscle memory, eye coordination with hand on target without firing ammo.
This tool is great due to the fact you donot have to go to a range to pratice with it, you can use it in your own home to increase your skills. GREAT TRAINING AID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great Product. It helps you practice good trigger discipline and sight alignment. While from short distances, most people have good enough aim to get the job done, but this will help you became a more accurate shooter if you use it. I've personally had trouble keeping tight groups even in slow fire, this has helped me realize that it was because of poor sight alignment. I'd recommend this 10 times out of ten assuming it holds up. It is really expensive though, as is the training aid that you can buy to go along with it. That would be the one knock, if I had one is the price. And if this were to fail to work, then I'd be super disappointed. The pros are it does what it say, works in 9mm, laser activates when hammer hits it, if you have the targets, they make a sound or light up.. Cons, full setup is around $200.

This is a great dry fire trainer. I had purchased the same thing from another company. However because of my light hammer spring it would not activate the laser lite steel time targets. I took a chance and ordered the laser lite cartridge and it worked great. However it did not come with extra batteries or a hard case that the other did. The laser lite was more than twice the price. That was disappointing but I was glad that it did the job for me.
Pros:
- Well made and it worked for me solving my problem with a light hammer spring
Cons:
- Way to expensive, no extra batteries or a hard storage case
Best Used for:
- Dry fire with laser lite steel time targets

Cartridge fit into gun perfectly, is bright, and comes with “Super Lube” to make sure it would be easy to em place and remove. The laser is bright. I enjoyed seeing where my “round” would go as I went through a shot sequence. This cartridge also permits bolstering and drawing from the holster easily.

There certainly is no replacement for live fire training. But the fact is that ammo is expensive and sometimes difficult to acquire. Being able to practice with dry fire increases eye hand. Also, I can practice in my home, where an altercation might happen. And, then live fire
Best Used for:
- Training for awkward situations
