Nice trainer and fun targets. Not too bad on batteries considering that they're powered by only 3 AAA batteries and you get both lights and "clang" sound (which can be muted). Little red light below target helps find target in low light. However, it will also drain batteries if left on when not in use. When fewer lights come on after a hit and sound diminishes, be sure to change batteries soon. Don't let them completely drain as they'll begin to leak. Considering ammo costs, these targets can provide some good, economical "range" practice time at home. Have used at (my indoor max) distance of 20 yards and they work very well using both LaserLyte pistol and 9mm Taryag laser cartridge in a semi-auto.
