I have a couple of S&W snubbies, and this toy isn’t close to realistic. For one thing, it weighs less than half of what a loaded Model 638 weighs. The trigger pull is also off—not nearly as crisp. That having been said, this is a decent alternative to going to the range (especially with the current cost of ammo). It’s also good for teaching basic principles of handgun shooting and range safety.
Pros:
- Good for simple training
Cons:
- Far too light to be realistic
Best Used for:
- Teaching basic handgun safety and shooting techniques
