If you need a laser stick with crimson trace - Lasermax Laser Sights for ParaOrdnance 1911 (5 in. barrel)

I purchased this device to assist in training and at first was pleased. Once I started shooting the gun the laser shifted point of aim. After many attempts to recorrect the point of aim I stopped using it (especially after the flimsy switch broke) At an instructors course the laser broke into several pieces, rendering my pistol useless. Figuring I may have received a bad item I contacted Lasermax to see what could be done. I was extremely displeased with their serviceperson, who stated I must have installed the device incorrectly. Being associated with a large firearms instructor group I had several experts look at the part who confirmed it was bad manufacturing. I contacted the company again and was again told by a representative they had no responsibility for the breakage, but hoped my next purchase with them goes better. At another event I showed the part to a lasermax rep, who confirmed bad manufacturing and stated the have a poor return policy. Hopefully others have better experience but I had only put about 500 rounds down before the sight broke.
