Dedicated lasermax owner - Lasermax Remington Laser Tactical Light LMS1202

I always loved Lasermax products! Very impressive when purchased new and quite the "show off" item. But after 3 short years of very limited home-protection use, the laser on my first LMS-1202 stopped working. I returned it to the company and they said "no can fix--but you can buy a NEW one from us for $xxx! Mind you their "offer" was about $40- more than Optics Planet and everybody else's price. Wow, thanks. Granted my unit was out of the 1 year warranty, but seriously, I have owned 6 of their products and it was a slap in the face to not be offered a discounted repair/replacement. So what did I do? Bought another from Optics Planet! Yes, I was left with a bitter taste in my mouth from their manufacture, and they got the last laugh selling me another through a vendor. Sadly not much compares to the versatility of the unit. End lesson: Buyer beware. If you expect a USA made product/company to stand behind their unit if it fails- DON'T buy! If you are ready to replace it when it quits....it is a good product..while it works!

Cons: POOR customer service, life of product
