Jimmy's Review of LBX Tactical Modular Plates Carrier
I bought this carrier a few months back and love it. LBX is owned by LBT. It’s pretty much the same design as LBT 6094 but on a more budget friendly level. American made fabrics but assembled over seas to cut cost. Very comfortable sits more on your traps towards your neck but spreads the load very well. Stitching is top notch and strong. I use this for both real steel training and airsoft training. So it gets put through its paces. Empty it’s a very lightweight carrier but strong. The Molle space is supreme and plenty to put whatever you want on it. Adjustability is super simple to do even by yourself. You can route coms or hydration with it with ease and convenience. You can tell LBX takes pride in this and it has a lot of the standards of LBT. It has a padded plate bag against your body for comfort. The plate suspension system is done by Velcro and never moves.
The velcro they use is some of the strongest velcro I have experienced on plate carriers. It takes effort but the plate carrier has pull tabs that make it easier as well as the cummerbund.
Here is where it differs from the 6094 by LBT.
No kangaroo pouch
Inside the carrier is a smooth material and not mesh
USA fabrics but Not assembled in the USA
Cummerbund does not have any side plate pockets or radio pockets.
Now you can always order the 6094 cummerbund if you wanted later down the road which is what I did by contacting LBT. I wanted the side plate pockets and intergraded radio pouches.
