I discovered this item about a decade ago, and liked the fact it allowed me to easily install a part that allowed me to install a bipod on an AR platform. Installation if quick and easy as long as you understand how to remove the heat shield and then reinstall it properly. This part also allows the installation of a vertical grip as well.
In recent years it has become more difficult to find this exact item, which includes the stud to allow the bipod attachment. It would be great if the company would include two studs in each package, which would then allow two rifles to be outfitted with one purchase.
I was happy to discover that Optics Planet still carries this item and was impressed that my order arrived earlier than was scheduled. Thanks to OP for handling my order so quickly and professionally, but that is what I have come to expect from this company.
