Great unit to mount flashlight or anything that does not require zeroing. If you can find a way to attach the bottom half on the barrel then the unit can be somewhat repeatable. But still, it's a lot better than those cheapo railed receiver covers. Great product for the price.
Pros: good price, relatively sturdy, does look intimidating
Cons: does not hold zero if you have to disassemble the unit i.e. clean gas tube
