Leapers utg riser mount - Leapers UTG 1in Hi-Profile Riser Mounts for Rifles w/ Picatinny/Weaver Rail

This mount is pretty simple. I purchased it to mount a red dot sight and co witness with AR15 iron sights. If this is your intention as well, buy a lower sitting riser as this one sits too high to effectively co witness.
The mount itself feels solid, thought his adds to the overall weight which is never good. It's easy to install, its just two large screws that can be mostly tightened by hand. Overall, seems like a good piece. Due to prices, I've been buying several non critical UTG Leapers products (Bi pod, flash light, this riser) just to test them out, and so far so good. And no, you can't see under the riser (which is hollow) to see your sights either. The riser has worked well to put a larger scope on my AR which actually needed the height to clear the rail, so it depends on if your putting a large scope or a red dot on your rifle. Great price too.
Pros: Easy to use, solid.
Cons: Too high for AR15, heavy.
