I mounted this on my Remington 11=87 shotgun shooting 3 inch Nitro-Mags and it holds zero with no damage to the unit. What a value!! Highly recommended!! Hope use it during the next turkey season. I had a Tasco red dot on my shotgun but it screwed up the dot after 3 shots. This one is worth the money and mounts up easily.
