Would definitely recommend ... for lighter fare. - UTG Pro 3X Magnifier w/ Flip-to-side QD Mount

I will start out with one slight disappointment. I bought this to pair with a UTG Pro 3.8in ITA 1x30mm Red/Green Circle Dot Sight w/Integral QD Mount, 4MOA Reticle, Black, SCP-RG40CDQ - which I had bought here. This was about 1/4" too tall to work with that red dot. Maybe that's on me. Nonetheless, I had also recently purchased a Swampfox Liberator II Mini Green Dot Sight 1x22mm, 2 MOA Green Dot Reticle, Black, RDLR122-2GD that I was going to use elsewhere.

After realizing the UTG magnifier and red dot wouldn't work together (without additional, possibly significant, expenditure), I decided to try it with the TS20 on my Tippmann M4-22 Pro. Again ... they didn't match up height-wise. Dang it! Enter the Swampfox. I was able to remove the extension from the Swampfox, affix the shorter attachment included with it and then attach a UTG 0.8" Picatinny riser - torqued to specs. Perfect match! Needless to say I was happy after trying so many different combinations of red dots and the magnifier. Took it to the range today, zeroed the red dot for 50 yards to be on paper and then aligned the magnifier. Perfection at 50 yards. Take the target out to 100 yards and with a couple of adjustments was zeroed in easily. Prior to the magnifier, I was much less "zeroed" at 100 yards. Now, it's much MORE zeroed ... for a .22.

Since this was just going on a .22 LR, I didn't want to break the bank with expensive setups, wasn't worried about using the riser with the short attachment and just really wanted to use what I had. This fit the bill. The glass is clear, the eye relief is reasonable, the eye-box is relatively good when you get used to it. If I had it on something more powerful, maybe ... but I would probably get something with better relief.
