This is not exactly the most solid sight I have ever used and I am not sure I would actually use this sight if my life depended on it.
The part that holds the aperture in place is not all that solid and could be moved with little effort. That being said, I don't see it affecting anything negatively through regular use.
As a range toy and overall not-so-serious use this is a great product. If you are looking for something more serious than you're better served to spend more and get something from LMT, Matech, KAC, or even possibly Magpul and their LR sight.
Again, I can't stress that this isn't a bad product for what it is but this is something just a little more rugged than airsoft.
