Does not hold zero. - Leapers UTG BugBuster 3-9x32mm Rifle Scope

Got the scope on 9/15/2020. Did not get around to installing and sighting it until mid-October. Five groups of 3, all over the place. Vertical adjustment does not quite work as it supposed to. Seems to adjust at half-the rate, i.e. 1/8 per click at 100 yards. Horizontal adjustment works as supposed to, but after two-three shots the point of impact begins to drift, both vertically and horizontally. Rifle – Ruger AR556, ammo – 223 Federal 55 gr. Checked the rifle with Nikon 16530 P-TACTICAL Riflescope 3-9X40 for five 1.5 inch groups, so it’s not the rifle or the ammo. Am contacting Leapers UTG. I did not expect Leupold, but I did not plan on useless variable magnification monocle either. Disappointing.
