Doug T's Review of Leapers UTG Classic 3-12x44mm Rifle Scope

My best friend has owned this scope for about 10 years and I have had one for about three years on our .22 Marauder air rifles. They are an excellent scope for the price point. Fairly clear glass, they rangefind well out to about 60 yards, 6 mil-dots in all four directions, not too heavy, magnification ring is easy to rotate. I'd recommend this scope if you want to try a good 30mm, mil-dot, side AO scope without spending a ton of money.
Pros:
  • Good features, side AO, mil-dots
Cons:
  • good but not great glass
Best Used for:
  • air rifles, .22LR, beginner tactical type guns
