Velcro provided to attach remote switch doesn't adhere. You have to replace it with a better grade Velcro, annuying but cheap to remedy. Light is really bright. Pros: Easy to install and use Cons: Coil cord on remote switch is clumsy to use and gets in the way

Works as advertised

I purchased this flashlight for my home defense shotgun project. It arrived on time and was extremely easy to install on the weapons accessory rail system. I will reserve my long term judgement on battery life and durability for a later review.

Great affordable weapon light

I bought two of these, one for my AR and one for my 870. While they are indeed a cheaper brand, and not exactly battle-proven quality, they work great for home defense weapon setups. They aren't super bright and they take the expensive CR123 batteries, but they feel rock solid and do the job. I have mine set up on both weapons without the pressure switch. If you're looking for a good weapon light for a home defense long gun, this will work just fine.

  • Not blinding enough
  • Not super high quality

Leapers UTG Defender LT-ZL168 Tactical Flashlight

Good Item.Well built. Easy to install. much better than my redneck mag-light taped to my ts-995 (to hold me until this came), very bright. needed light due to coyotes in the area. One comment was lack of battery ailability - I found them at anyplace that sells camera batteries. only con - can't really use as handheld and weapons light - not readily unmountable from weapon, must select one or the other. Quick release mount would solve that. Would defiantly recommend. only marked as 4 since its really handheld OR weapon.
Pros: Well Built, Good Value, very bright
Cons: Handheld or Weapon, must decide one or other, not both

Well built, sturdy, easy to install

I installed this on my Sig M400 with Magpul MOE furniture. Right out of the box you could tell this was a well made light and installed in a matter of minutes (yeah - no kidding). No fancy set up or fine tuning, it just work perfect right out of the box. If you are looking for a no frills tactical light please consider this light.
Pros: Straight forward tactical light, well made

great value

Product appears to be of good quality, its not top of the line, but I believe it will meet my needs. I put it on a patrol rifle, not sure about the cord but I have it wrapped around my foregrip right now, hopefully it holds up.
Pros: great product for the money
Cons: none yet...will revisit after I have used it for more than a few weeks
