Look nice but poorly designed. - Leapers UTG Top Mounted Deployable Iron Sight for Picatinny

My problems with this front sight are three things. First, the "elevation" adjustment retention pin is in the wrong location. They designed the pin to be on the right side of the post, so by design it pushes the post to the left, therefore it requires windage adjustment on the rear sight to compensate. Three pin should be located fore or aft, not on the left or right side. Secondly, to zero for 100 yards required the post to be elevated too high and therefore becomes too loose because the retention pin is therefore no longer making adequate contact. Lastly, the "disk" on the post should be able to thread up or down the post with a small lock nut so one could have a greater range of adjustment to zero the sight with any particular rifle. I don't recommend these sights...I wanted to love them, but don't love something that wasn't thought through thoroughly before production. 2 stars.
