Legacy Reviewer's Review of Leapers UTG Model 47 Ergonomic Pistol Grip, Black

I ordered this pistol grip for a Waffen Werks AK-74 5.45mm x 39 rifle. It fits perfectly, is extremely comfortable, and is built to withstand the harsh rigors of the battlefield. Construction is absolutely solid , and there is little doubt that long-term durability will be outstanding. It is neither too large nor too slim, but is instead of a good medium-sized profile that will offer the greatest range of versatility in accommodating large and small hands, whether bare or gloved ( with light, medium or heavy gloves ). The back-angle ( rake ) is just right for the vast majority of shooters and will work perfectly in unison with nearly all battle stances. The waterproof storage compartment is a nice add-on, too. As far as cosmetics go, it also looks just right in proportion to the AK rifle, whether it be an AK-47/AKM or AK-74 platform.

I had previously installed a TAPCO SAW grip on my AK-74, and while that grip was entirely functional, ergonomically correct for my somewhat large hands, and practical in daily usage, it somehow wasn't quite right, nor did it look proportional. The Leapers UTG grip resolved this issue in an instant.

The price point is also incredibly reasonable, especially considering the high-end quality and functionality of this grip versus the competition.

The only concern would be that it is clearly designed for right-handed users ( the palm swell that helps make the ergonomics so good is on the right-hand side of the grip ), and I have yet to see a version designed specifically for left-handed users. Leapers, are you listening? --- If so, please take note to help out those shooters!
Pros: Ergonomically friendly, comfortable, high-quality pistol grip for a very reasonable price
Cons: Excellent ergonomic palm swell on grip, but currently this is applicable only to right-handed operators.
