Recently got into night vision and got a LAM, wanted to top mount that so I got this handguard to replace the "ultralight" handguard that came on my PSA rifle, which only had pic rail at the front and rear 4" or so. This installed easily, seems very secure, has WAY better anti-rotation lugs, has full flat top pic rail, 7 sided M-LOK, and it's only 1oz heavier than that "ultralight" handguard that doesn't have any of these features.
Only cons imo are; 1) there are no QD attachment points (which would have simply required a hole drilled). and 2) the included barrel nut wrench accepts a 1/2" torque wrench, but the torque spec is only 35 ft/lb, so it would make more sense for it to take a 3/8" drive torque wrench.
All in all a great option, especially for the price! Love UTG for their non-electronic accessories, always well built and function great.
