Exactly what i expected - UTG Pro AR15 Extended Carbine Length Drop-in Quad Rail

This product was exactly what I expected. I installed it on a Ruger AR 556. It fits perfectly except for the bayonet lug. I had read other reviews and knew what to expect. The top portion will fit on, the lower carbine section fits on, but then the small lower section in front will not slide on properly. The Ruger bayonet lug has a "bell shape" flare which you'll have to grind down slightly (1/16") on each side. It wasn't as heavy as I anticipated though. I also added a Magpul AFG2 angled foregrip to the forward portion of the lower rear carbine section. Special Note* - when adding the Magpul AfG2, you'll need to slide it on before installing the front lower piece. The AfG2 doesn't expand open far enough.
I also saw this on other reviews and they're accurate. I also installed the UTG Heavy Duty Recon 360 bipod on the front. Even with all the accessories, the overall weight is still very manageable. Depending on your shooting circumstance you can always quickly remove the bipod. Generally speaking I'm very pleased with the purchase and the weapon looks fantastic!
