Sturdy but bulky. - Leapers UTG Recon Flex M-LOK Bipods

Purchased for my ar556 ruger. I hace mlok handguard. Standard barrel. when I mounted the bipod I noticed that the pod had a large gap in between only because the handguard has a slot at 10 o'clock. The pitch where the pod mounting bracket is makes it impossible for my 30rd mag to fit and maintain angle.a 10rd mag would fit great. I'm now looking to buy a hand guard that would narrow in the bipod legs even about 3 inches, that would raise the barrel about 4 inches and maybe fit my 30rd. Its solid though not a bad pod, just didnt fit my application to well. But I'm keeping it either way.
