Great mount with some adjustments - Leapers UTG Universal Dovetail to Picatinny/Weaver Rail Adaptor

Yes I know an item is supposed to work perfectly out of the box but I've had my best luck out of the box using these on PCP air rifles. The weak point on these is the tiny screw that's used for clamping the rail down on the dovetail. I've owned near 25 of these, and when I install them on my spring air rifle or a customers is upgrading fasteners. I modify these by drilling out the threads on the rail and tapping for 10-32 screw that is longer than the width of the rail. I also use washers under the screw heads and don't have to torque the screws as much due to less friction of the screw head taking away from the tension of the threads when not using a washer. I always use blue loctite as well.
