Extended lever - Hi-Lux Optics CMR Rifle Scope Extended Levers

The SMA-EL mount kit showed up on time and well made. There seem to be 2 models of this accessory - the CMA-EL (see Midway USA)and the SMA-EL (Optics Planet). Optics Planet only ships the SMA-EL. However, even though the Optics info for the SMA-EL mount kit says it is compatible with CMA-EL scope, I don't think so. When I tried to screw the flat mount washer into my CMA 1X4 24 Leatherwood scope, the threads did not match. You could not turn the mount washer into the power ring. Emailed Leatherwood and got a quick reply: Screw the flat washer in anyway - this will make it tight. This can't be done, in my opinion, without making the washer cut the threads of the power ring. Sent the kit back to Optics Planet and got a timely credit - great service from Optics Planet.
