Great scope for m1a scout squad - Hi-Lux Optics Long Eye Relief 2-7x32mm LPVO Rifle Scope, 1in Tube

I love this scope I got from OpticsPlanet. I purchased the one with the BDC reticle. I mounted it on my M1A Scout Squad using 1" Warne Low QD rings and it's a perfect match up. I wanted it low on my rifle and have the ability to quickly remove it if something happened to it. So the really great part is the extremely long eye relief, which is a must for a Scout style rifle. The clarity is exceptional. The ability to zero and then set the dials to zero was an unexpected surprise. I zero'd the scope at 100 yards and it took 6 rounds just to hit paper. It was shooting high. Finally got it to print on paper and then had it zero'd within another 6 rounds. I shot the square and it held zero. The only reason it got a 4 star rating from me is due to the lens caps. They are exactly the same size, yet the rear objective is considerable smaller than the front, so the caps will only fit the front objective. That was a disappointment for me. Everything else about this scope is pretty awesome.
