Camputer art m-1000 - Hi-Lux Optics Camputer ART Scope M-1000 2.5-10x44 Auto Ranging Trajectory Rifle Scope

I used the much younger brother of this product back in the early 70's in places that we still don't talk about today. The M-1000 has some significant improvements to that earlier model but I still maintains the the confidence in the quality, ruggedness, and functionality of that old friend of mine. I took it to the range for the first time a couple of weeks ago mounted on my AR-15. No bore sight performed. Started out at 25 yards to get it on paper. after three shots and tweaking, we moved back to 50 and fired 3 more shots, tweaking as we went. Then it was out to 100 yards using the first mark above the zero cross (as outlined in the manual. 9 rounds fired, with tweaking after the first three rounds. The remaining 6 of those rounds were fired from a lead sled to guarantee no shooters jitters. All 6 rounds could be covered by a 1963 50 cent piece (the same one that I have carried around in my pocket since 1972. I call that a statement of satisfaction. Will I recommend this product to anyone considering purchasing it? HE## Yes I Will. I might add that I added a small drop of Gun Tight to the locking knobs of the mount to ensure they didn't work loose.
