Overall it'll do the job. Installation wasn't difficult but it got a bit tedious. First problem, the way the windage adjustment feature is setup makes for a difficult time squaring the rail to the barrel. Too many moving parts so getting that perfect alignment and tightening the bases was a tad bit of a struggle. Machining is not perfect and Blythe time I had set up my rail straight I noticed the bases were not set perfectly square on their bases...oh well. On the subject of machining my Trijicon QD mount would not slip on. The actual slits in the rail are slightly under spec and tight. Nothing wrong with the trijicon as I mounted onto several of my AR rails and foun no problems. I brought the mount to a machine shop and had a guy custom file and ground the slits to get perfect attachment of the QD mount. Overall it would be an even better products if it was machined with greater precision and QC at the factory. Get rid of the moving windage feature and have it set to its perfectly square on a 77 once it's installed. Other than its pretty neat and would still pick this over standard ruger rings which I think are kinda low end and limiting for both the gun and the shooter.
Pros: Requires no gun smithing or special tools
Cons: Machining not perfect, certain qd mounts would not slip right on, adjusting the windbags features was tedious just to get the base straight along barrel
