*This is an update to my previous review.
After a few months of trying to contact Leatherwood and Hi-Lux Inc., they sent me a new and improved front mounting base that fits. It is narrower and allows the screws to do their job, tighten and secure the front base. Next, if you look closely at a Ruger scope ring, you will see a bevel on the tightening lug side the mounts on the receiver. The Leatherwood rear base does not have a bevel. I ground it off with my Dremel tool to mirror the Rugers base and everything fits tight and flat. The way it should be. Mounted a scope, bore sighted and zeroed.
That's the fix that worked in my situation.
Pros: Now it works!
Cons: Took some time and improvisation
