TD's Review of Lee 90936 Load Master 9MM Reloading Pistol Kit
After a marathon week of loading on a Lee Classic Turret press, i decided the time had come to upgrade to a progressive. I had been researching them for quite a while, so I knew a blue press or the other red one would be better, but the funds just weren't available for one of those. Having used lee for years, I knew what I was getting into. I'm a tinkerer by nature, so I actually enjoyed setting this up.
There are a ton of videos and forum posts about the Loadmaster. People that take the time to set them up properly typically love them. First and foremost, sand (800 grit) and polish any parts that rub together. This alone will make a world of difference.
I have it set up for 9mm and .45acp, with a RCBS tube bullet feeder and the set-crimp die only (no FCD). I haven't had any issues not running the FCD. My only complaint now is that I run out of components too quickly!
