Lee universal decapping die - Lee Decapping Dies 90292

This is the third Lee Universal Decapping Die I own for loading handgun calibers on a Lee Loadmaster progressive press. Placing the Universal Decapping Die in station 1 allows for a particular setup which increases reliability of the priming system of this press. I have on two occasions had the decapping pin protrude upwards due to the pin hitting a mispositioned case. This is a protective feature and the pin was spared from breaking. It worked, and I simply repositioned the pin and continued. Although I could easily use this to decap before tumbling I generally do not for pistol calibers.
