Razor sharp high contrast low light perfection - Leica Trinovid HD 10x42mm Roof Prism Binoculars

I’ve have no regrets paying $1000 for these excellent binoculars. The depth of field, the color accuracy, the high contrast, the excellent feel to the focus ring along with insanely laser sharp images bring everything right up to your eyes. Everything is simply excellent with these Leicas. I own the 10x42 Trinovids and they stomp my Zeiss Terra 10x42. I was deer hunting in low level light, and my Terra 3-9X50 rifle scope that I was using to scan across a field was unusable, I raised my Leica binoculars and it was if I had night vision on these things! It was crazy bright.

During the day, I was looking 300 yards into dark woods and the dark areas went dark at all. I can easily make out the detail on tree bark. I could see the bluish raven shimmer on the feathers on crows at the same distance.

Individual blades of grass at 500 yards were all in focus..

I love these binoculars. If I could afford them, I’d like to own the Noctivid Leica’s but the price is out of my pay-grade. How they can improve on the image of the Trinovids leave me scratching my head..

There is no way you will regret this purchase. Bite the bullet and get them.

Buy once cry once.. Cheap man always pays twice..

Depth of field is important. I owned some Nikon 10x42 monarchs and even though then images are impressive, the depth of focus was abysmal. The DOF was enough for me give them away to my father in law who I knew wouldn’t ever use them.
