I got this as a replacement head for the vortex radian, it was an easy swap but you loose the capability to hang a weight from it. There are other ways to add a stabilizing weight but you will not have the necessary threads on the bottom of the head. Still it is a solid product from a reputable manufacturer. I am happy with it.
