If you are looking for a rock solid mount, built like a tank... this is it. It's over engineered for all intent and purpose, I think they designed it to be suitable as an impromptu football when there is a lull in a fire fight... or maybe to double as a micronized club when you run out of ammo... regardless, it will outlast Armageddon at any rate.
