Folks, you do not need to remove your scope or use Lock Tight to mount these covers. The threaded portion turns independent of the flip up cover. Leupold, please include instructions with these; I almost sent mine back.

Otherwise, love them.
Pros: Elegant, smooth acting, weather proof covers
Cons: No instructions...almost sent them back.
