jim's Review of Leupold Backcountry Winchester Cross-Slot Bases
Very Light weight goes with Leupold rings. It fits most rifles. I put it on a feather weight Winchester Model 70, making it a great light rifle mountain rifle any weight you can get lose makes it easier haul up the mountain. The base was easy to mount, no need for a gunsmith. The base has been very durable and has stayed solid.
