Jim's Review of Leupold BX-1 Rogue 8x25mm Compact Binocular

Nice clear image when you can get it. The eye relief is so poor that one spends too much time fiddling trying to get a full image, dealing with vignetting, black rings playing around at the edge of the image, etc. Single click twist-up eyecups help but they pop up too high, slightly degrading the image. Yet another example of substandard Chinese manufacturing and design. Wildly overpriced. These are $50-60 binoculars at best.
