The light gathering is great in low light..dusk & dawn. I also like looking at the stars & it's unbelieveable how much more you see with these binocs. Crisp,clear viewing. Close focusing to 10 ft is great for bird watching. I bought one for myself & was so impressed, I bought 2 more for family members.

Pros: Light gathering ability, clarity & compactness
Cons: None
