What a tough decision it is for such a major purchase! All I can say as I am beyond happy I picked these Santiam HD’s! These are extremely bright and crystal clear!!! I had high hopes and these did not fail to deliver. I have meopta HD 10x42 which have Swarovski quality glass. These Santiam’s are every bit as bright and clear as my Meopta’s. And these things are perfect for hunters! Fit and finish is perfect and they are super rugged and bulletproof. I mean these things ooze quality! Which they should at this price range. I can’t imagine anyone being disappointed in these and that includes people with euroglass. The extra magnification is just wonderful and they can easily be used without a tripod. But for long glassing a tripod is recommended. Leupold once again has not let me down. I recommend these 100% especially for the price!
