Delta point pro - Leupold DeltaPoint Pro 1 x 2.5 MOA Red Dot Sight

I'll get right to the point. It appears to be a great sight. I have used the old version, Delta Point, and worked fantastically. I presume the PRO will work equally as good. I have had the sight for exactly 23 days and haven't been able to use it on my S&W M&P Performance Center CORE 9mm pistol. There is NO adapter plate available for the PRO and my pistol. The Pro is slightly longer than the old version. Will not fit the plate that S&W supplied. No reflection on Optics Planet, but there has to be a plate available soon. I've got a 600.00 sight I can't use because I can't mount it to my pistol. What gives Leupold?? I need an adapter plate and I expect Optics Planet to get them moving. I want to use the sight and can't. Can you help me and I am sure, others. Thank you. The Frankster!!
