I purchased this because I wanted an 8x rangefinder, had the Leupold name, and figured it would be the quality of their scopes. The glass is what you would expect. The functionality of the device is what I could not get over. This think is much more difficult than what you would expect. My biggest gripe is as a bowhunter, if the rangefinder is in "Bow" mode, it will not register any distances over 60 yards. I don't have a good answer for this as to why they won't. I thought with their second release of the RX they would have gotten it right. I know that 60 yards is pushing it on my bow, but I would still like to range other things without having to Click Select, click over to Rifle, range the target over 60 yards, click back to bow. Why bother? I ended up selling this and going with Bushnell which was not the same glass, but easy to use. Click and read the number. Other note, if you cannot get to hold one first, go to http://www.leupold.com and download the instruction booklet. Make sure it is something you can live with before buying.
Pros: Clear Glass
Cons: Need to use it a lot to stay familiar, limited bow range
