Red dot that wasn't - Leupold Freedom 1x34mm Reflex Red Dot Sight

The entire battery box came off while removing battery cover. This caused the connection from battery to scope to break. Rep for Leupold was top notch a 2nd day air label was emailed, 2nd email sent to say received product and repair would take 8 weeks, this is why I gave it a one star. I can not give a review on clarity, accuracy or easy of use, scope was out of commission before I could even mount it. Its mu understanding the this is an engineering mistake? Threads for battery box should have been opposite that of the cover. Once I receive scope back I would like to give a review on function.
